These terms explain how GopherPad works, what we provide to UK tradespeople, and what we expect in return. We've written them in plain English because legal jargon helps nobody. If anything isn't clear, just ask us.
We create a professional local page for your trade and area, then work to get it found by potential customers. When someone needs your services, they fill in an enquiry form which we send straight to you.
Your GopherPad page works alongside your existing website and marketing - it doesn't replace anything you're already doing.
Respond to enquiries quickly and professionally. Provide good service to customers who book work through the platform. Pay your monthly fee once billing starts.
That's it. No complicated requirements or hidden obligations.
When we send you an enquiry, you're the only tradesperson who gets it. We don't sell the same lead to multiple people or run bidding systems.
The customer contacted your GopherPad page specifically, so the enquiry is yours alone to respond to.
You have 48 hours to respond to each enquiry. This gives you time to check your schedule and respond properly, while keeping customers happy.
If you can't take on the work, just let the customer know politely. If you're too busy to respond within 48 hours, the enquiry may be rerouted.
If there's no response within 48 hours, we may reroute the enquiry to another qualified tradesperson in your area. This keeps the customer happy and protects the reputation of the platform.
You still get charged for rerouted enquiries because the customer originally contacted your page.
Just pause your service before you go. No enquiries will be sent while you're paused, so no risk of rerouting. Resume when you're back and ready for work.
We don't take payment details during application or setup. Your page goes live first, and billing only starts once enquiries are coming through and you choose to open them.
This means you can test the quality of enquiries before paying anything.
After your first enquiries arrive, we'll ask if you're happy with the quality and want to continue. If you say yes, we'll take payment details and billing starts.
If you're not happy, you don't pay. Simple as that.
Once billing starts, you pay a fixed monthly fee regardless of how many enquiries you receive. Some months might be busier than others - that's just how business works.
Payment is taken automatically on the same date each month. We'll always email you beforehand to confirm.
Going on holiday? Temporarily too busy? Just pause your service and we'll stop sending enquiries.
Billing also pauses, so you only pay for months when you're active. Resume whenever you're ready.
Give us 24 hours notice to pause or resume.
Cancel anytime with 30 days notice. Your service continues until your next billing date, then stops.
No cancellation fees, no penalties, no hassle. If you want to return later, just let us know.
Your area might be taken by someone else, but there are no extra costs to return.
We keep things simple. Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally. Provide good service to customers. Pay your bill on time. That's it.
